You are very welcome to come and explore any Sunday service at the Abbey. Shown below is our normal pattern, but at the major Christian festivals (such as Advent, Christmas and Easter) the worshipping life of Malmesbury Abbey is an especially rich and busy one, so it’s best to contact the Parish Office for details.
Abbey@8.00am
A quiet reflective service, stepping back in time, using the more traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer, and with Holy Communion. No music is used.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays.

Abbey@9.30am
A time for families to come together to share and have fun learning about God’s love for us. Pastries and coffee, music, drama, activities and prayer in an informal Cafe-style setting. Every Sunday.

Abbey@ 11.00 am
Holy Communion, with Bible teaching and hymns, accompanied by our Malmesbury Abbey choir. Tea and coffee available after this service. Every Sunday

Abbey@6.00pm Informal Worship
An informal service, a focus on deepening our faith with Bible teaching and music led by a band.
Tea and Coffee will be served. Every Sunday.

Abbey@3:30pm Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong, a peaceful service led by our Malmesbury Abbey robed choir, gives the opportunity to be inspired by the beauty of choral singing.
Held on the first Sunday of each month.

Wednesdays at 10.30am
Each day you are welcome to join us in St Aldhelm’s Chapel at 9am for Morning Prayer. A simple liturgy, a hymn, a psalm, bible readings and a time of prayer together. And on Wednesdays at 10.30am there is a service of Holy Communion followed by coffee.
